Welcome
to the home of Sienna and Caramel
When we lost our dog, a Chesapeake Bay
retriever named "Grand Marnier" (she was the color of the liqueur),
we began searching for a new dog. We took a test on the web, I
wanted a big hairy mutt and my wife wanted a small dog that did not
shed much. We both agreed that the dog needed to be friendly,
good with kids, active, and intelligent. The Brittany came up
tops on our combined test results.
After searching the web we found Jayhawker
Brittany's and read all about Brittany's, and
then we met "Jeb" on the show circuit in Saskatoon, and fell
in love with him. You can read all about him Here.
We then had to wait and wait some more to get to the top of the Puppy
list at Jayhawkers.
Sienna ...all about
her "Jayhawkers
Sienna Marnier"
When we finally were able to pick out a
pup we arrived at Jayhawkers and found that there were 17 pups from 2
litters and more people than pups on the waiting list !! We
picked Sienna out of the bundle of fur almost immediately, only to
find out she was a "Show Quality" pup and we were on the
"Pet" list. to make matters worse Lori, the breeder,
had first choice of pup and Sienna was one of two she was considering.
By agreeing to show Sienna to her
Canadian Championship and to allow her to have pups if she was OFA
Certified "Good" or better, AND by convincing Lori to take
another dog, we were able to bring Sienna home. She has turned into
the most wonderful dog and mother and you can check out her pups from
her 1st litter by following the link and watch for her new litter
in Spring of 2006, but if you want a pup get on the list now at Jayhawker
Puppies
Caramel ...all about
her "Jayhawkers
Caramel Marnier"
Caramel came to us because we were in the right place at the right
time. We were visiting with our breeder after a dog show in
Calgary and she showed us this 12 week old pup that was pick of the litter
but could not be sent to her new owner because the owner was very
sick. the phone rang and we found out the dog was not going to
her new owner, it was straight to the closest auto teller and we were
the proud owners of Caramel. Caramel is about to have her 1st
litter about Feb 4, 2005
